09:28, 04 August 2024
There will be no trains running from a Kent railway station today due to engineering works.
Buses will be replacing trains on all routes via Tonbridge, with disruption to be expected.
Southeastern says trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings will only run to Sevenoaks, with additional trains between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings.
Accessible replacement buses will run between Sevenoaks and Paddock Wood, calling at Tonbridge only, and between Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells, calling at all stations.
Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate and Dover Priory via Tonbridge will run hourly, and be diverted between London Bridge and Ashford International to run via Maidstone East.
This service will call additionally at Otford and Maidstone East.
At Ashford International, the train will divide and one portion of coaches will run between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Canterbury West, and the other portion will run between Ashford International and Dover Priory via Folkestone Central. Additional trains will run between Paddock Wood and Ashford International.
Replacement buses will be busier than usual, so Southeastern is encouraging people to allow extra time for their journeys.
