A person has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.

Police were called to the collision along Maidstone Road in Paddock Wood, Tonbridge at around 4.34pm.

A spokesman for the force said: “Officers attended the scene of the incident, which involved a car and a pedestrian.

“The South East Coast Ambulance Service was also in attendance and took the pedestrian to the hospital for treatment.”

The road has remained open and the person is being treated for what appear to be minor injuries.

The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
