Overnight burglaries reported in Hildenborough and Tonbridge

People are being warned to keep their doors and windows secure after a series of overnight burglaries.
Happening across Hildenborough and Tonbridge, the first was an attempted burglary occurred in White Cottage Road between the hours of 10pm on Sunday September 9 and at 6am on Monday September 10.
Police suspect the offender tried to climb through a window on the ground floor but failed to make it into the property.
At around 4am on Tuesday September 11, officers were called with a report of another attempted burglary in Coldharbour Lane, Hildenborough.
Somebody tried to enter a house through a window but left when an alarm sounded.
A further break-in was reported in Northwood Road on the same night, where cash and a games console were stolen.
Detective Inspector Kerry Rothwell of the Tonbridge and Malling community safety unit said: "While we are investigating these incidents, I am reminding residents to ensure their doors and windows are secure when they go to bed and to keep valuable items out of view.
"I would ask anyone who saw anything suspicious overnight in these areas or who has information that may assist the investigation to contact us."
