British Transport Police confirm man died after being hit by train near Hildenborough station

A man died after being hit by a train near Hildenborough railway station, police have confirmed.
Officers were called just before 9pm on Saturday following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
All services were suspended in the area for more than an hour between Tonbridge and Sevenoaks following the incident, and trains were also not able to stop at Hildenborough the following day until just before 4pm.
A British Transport Police spokesman added: "The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
