Pam Mills from the Royal British Legion said: "It was a brilliant and fun way to get everyone involved. Credit to everyone that signed up including Tonbridge police who provided a relay of spinners.

"Talks are already in place to host the event again over the next few years increasing the hours gradually. It was a true community effort to support such a good cause."

Julie Poole said "I was amazed at how many people signed up and at the amount we raised, it was a brilliant event & I would like to say a big thanks to everyone who got involved."
