CCTV released of man police want to speak to after Ford Fiesta broken into in Tonbridge

A suspected car thief is alleged to have made threats with a wrench before fleeing when challenged by a passer-by.
It is reported a man was seen trying a handle of a blue Ford Fiesta parked in Barden Road, Tonbridge, yesterday (July 8).
He is said to have returned shortly after 12.15pm and managed to open the car’s boot but was then challenged by a man who was suspicious of his behaviour.
The suspect, who was pictured wearing a balaclava, is alleged to have made threats with what appeared to be a wrench before running off.
Police carried out house-to-house and CCTV inquiries and officers are now keen to speak to the man pictured.
