Suspected drug dealer arrested in Darenth Avenue, Tonbridge to appear at Maidstone Crown Court

A driver suspected of dealing drugs after cocaine and cash were seized from a car in Tonbridge is due in court.
Officers on patrol on Wednesday, December 23, stopped a VW Golf in Darenth Avenue at 7.45pm.
Suspecting the driver was involved in the supply of drugs, the officers searched the vehicle and found 12 deals of cocaine.
They also seized a quantity of cash and a mobile phone before the driver was arrested and taken into custody.
Shahin Miah, of South View Road, Tunbridge Wells, was charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possessing the cash believed to be criminal property.
Mr Miah, 34, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Boxing Day where he was bailed to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on January 21.
