Residents from far and wide attend to take in the sights, sounds and smells of life in the 15th century England and it brings a flavour of medieval life to the town.

The fair will run on Saturday September 13 and Sunday September 14 from 10am to 5pm.

Organised by Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council, it looks to recreate the spirit of the middle ages with vivid fighting re-enactments, men and women dressed in costume and medieval dishes being prepared over open fires.

From calligraphy to leatherwork and textiles – the Council is looking for a range of stalls and wares to help bring the event to life.

Stall holders will be given access to set up from 12 noon on Friday September 12.

Cabinet Member for Leisure Youth and Arts, Cllr Maria Heslop, said: “The fair is a truly magical event not to be missed."
