Popular TV presenter Phil Spencer will be leaving his homes far behind him as he takes part in a gruelling 100 mile charity bike ride.
Mr Spencer, who presents Channel 4’s Location, Location, Location and Phil Spencer: Secret Agent will be taking part in the Castle Ride 100 in aid of Action Medical Research on Sunday, May 17.
Now in its ninth year, the endurance ride starts and finishes at Tonbridge Castle and takes a circular route.
The estate agent extraordinaire, who is originally from Kent, said: “This will be my fourth year taking part in the Castle Ride 100 and challenging yourself physically and raising money for a worthwhile cause are both motivating and rewarding experiences - if this can be done whilst having a good time riding a bike amongst friends in beautiful scenery then so much the better.”
Those taking part will be raising money to help fund medical research into conditions affecting babies and children.
The 100-mile route, which also features two shorter options, takes riders through stunning scenery, along country lanes and past the historic site of Bodiam Castle.
