Kent Police arrest men after reported gas bottle thefts from villages around Maidstone and Tonbridge

Kent Police have arrested two men after a number of alleged thefts of gas bottles from villages around the county.
Officers have arrested a 19-year-old man from Sevenoaks, and a 24-year-old man from Hertfordshire on suspicion of theft.
The men were spotted in a vehicle reported to be used in the thefts, it was also said to be connected to suspicious activity for the last month.
The car was stopped in Thurrock, Essex, shortly before 1.35pm on Tuesday April 28.
Both men have been bailed until June 29 pending further enquiries.
The thefts took place at various locations in Kent, including in Horsmonden, Hawkenbury, Otham, Marden, Yalding and Collier Street.
