Tonbridge Angels boss Tommy Warrilow says his side will fight until the end in their Skrill South relegation battle
08:10, 17 April 2014
Tonbridge are three points adrift of safety in Skrill South ahead of Saturday's home clash against third-placed Bromley.
But Warrilow and his players have no intention of throwing in the towel. He said: “We’ll never do that – no way. We’ll keep fighting until the end.
“It is what it is (the situation his side are in) and there is no point crying about it.
“We’ve just got to focus on the job at hand and not think about other results going our way.
“There are nine points still to play for and we’ve got to get them, starting with three against Bromley.”
Warrilow has no fear of his side playing against another of the league high-fliers.
He said: “We play better against those a lot higher than us while struggle to get a result against those around us.
“I’d love to keep it that way against Bromley but we need to take our chances to do so.
Angels travel to Chelmsford on Monday.
