Tonbridge defender Nathan Green has joined League 2 Dagenham & Redbridge on a one-year contract.

Daggers made their move after watching the 23-year-old left-back last season.

Green has never played in the league but Dagenham boss Wayne Burnett believes he is capable of making the step up.

Burnett told the Daggers website: "I'm very pleased to have signed Nathan.

"We've been tracking Nathan Green for a couple of months - we've had numerous reports on him.

"He's a bit raw but I see potential in him and see attributes in him that can see him become a league player."
