Steve McKimm has warned his new-look Tonbridge squad that they need to deliver on the pitch.

Goalkeeper Kyle Merson (Staines) and the midfield duo of Dee Okojie (Kingstonian) and Lee Carey all signed for the Angels this week.

But McKimm said: "While it all looks impressive with so many new names here, that doesn’t mean anything unless we get the results we want.

“The proof of the pudding will come in the games. Winning three points on a regular basis will prove the squad has come together and is playing the way I want it to do.”

Carey, a former Hastings captain, is no stranger to Angels fans – he had a loan spell with the club while he was with Brighton and Hove Albion in 2005.

The trio follow last week’s signings of James Folkes (Hornchurch), Ben King (Sutton) and Harry Harding (Carshalton).

McKimm said: “I had a blank canvas when I arrived now the picture is starting to come together nicely and I am happy with the way things are going."
