Tonbridge Angels have re-signed Sonny Miles just a year after he left for rivals Maidstone United and the defender has the backing of manager Steve McKimm to be an integral part of the squad.
Miles, 24, won promotion to National League South with the Stones last season but was released by manager Jay Saunders in May.
McKimm said: "When Sonny got released from Maidstone he contacted me to see if I was interested.
"We had to sort out some financial stuff first but we managed to come to an agreement.
"He was with the club before but went off for a new challenge and now wanted to come back to us despite there being interest from a couple of other clubs.
"He got promoted by the play-offs with Tonbridge and spent a couple of years in the Conference South and can bring this experience back with him to be a big asset to the squad."
