The Tonbridge Half-Marathon made a welcome return on Sunday - and the race's 10th year saw a home one-two for the local club Tonbridge AC.
More than 600 runners were on the startline but none were faster than Dan Bradley. Bradley tackled the streets and the picturesque village of Leigh in 1hr11min04sec, winning by more than three minutes from Tonbridge AC clubmate Michael Ellis (1:14.09).
Ashford AC's Ian King was third, eight minutes behind Bradley, in 1:19.34.
The women's race was won by South London Harriers' Jo Vickers. Her 1:27.06 gave her a comfortable margin over Lianne Leakey (Hailsham Harriers, 1:31.55) and local favourite Sophie Preston (Tonbridge AC, 1:33.27). Preston was, however, the leading junior female.
