Performances will follow says Tonbridge manager Steve McKimm after perfect start to Ryman League Premier Division season

Steve McKimm is confident Tonbridge’s performances will soon match their results after his side maintained their 100% start with two more wins this week.
Angels are one of only two sides in the Ryman League, Premier Division with 12 points from their opening four matches.
Two 1-0 victories, away to Lowestoft last Saturday and at home to Harrow on Tuesday, have kept McKimm’s side level with early pacesetters Leiston.
“
They were two pleasing wins,” McKimm said. “We backed up a good away victory on Saturday with a less impressive performance (on Tuesday) but it’s three points. It’s all about getting points on the table – performances will come.
“What we’ve done so far is probably not for the purists but points are what count at the moment and as long as we keep accumulating points, I’m happy.
“A winning team’s always good for the supporters but some people want a little bit more.
“At the minute, as long as my team’s producing three points every week, that’s what I’m going to be happy with.”
Angels travel to face a Met Police side bottom of the table so far on Saturday. Tonbridge return to Longmead on Bank Holiday Monday when mid-table Billericay are the visitors (3pm).
