Tonbridge Angels are looking for a fourth straight win this weekend - but high-flying Hendon stand in their way at Longmead.

Last weekend’s 6-0 thrashing of Herne Bay in the FA Cup followed league wins for the Angels over Leatherhead and Canvey Island.

But with only Maidstone and Margate boasting a better record than Hendon in the Ryman League Premier Division, a tougher test lies ahead on Saturday.

Tonbridge boss Steve McKimm said: “The players should feel confident because they’ve won three on the spin. We’re on a good little run.

“I try to instill confidence into them and they should be confident going into the game, without being over-confident or cocky.

“This is another test for us. Hendon are on a roll at the minute and it’ll be good for us to test ourselves against them, to see how far we’ve come."

Tonbridge could have Nathan Campbell back but defender Jon Heath requires a hernia operation and is expected to be out for a month.
