£2m worth of cocaine believed to be heading for Tunbridge Wells and Folkestone has been seized

Police have disrupted a drugs supply network they believe had links to Tunbridge Wells and Folkestone, seizing £2m worth of cocaine.
Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate searched an address in Marlowe Close, Maldon, Essex, on Wednesday afternoon and discovered 11 pressed blocks of suspected cocaine.
In addition, significant volumes of powder, believed to include cocaine, heroin and cutting agents, were also seized, along with quantities of cannabis and cash.
A man and a woman were arrested.
Ged Shone-Porter, 25, of Marlowe Close, Maldon, was later charged with three counts of conspiracy to supply drugs - cocaine, heroin and cannabis.
He was further charged with possessing criminal property (namely the cash seized).
He was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
A 25-year-old from Plumstead in London, has been released pending further investigation.
