Drivers are facing delays this morning after a crash and carriageway flooding forced a closure on the A21.
Two vehicles collided just before 6am and the road was shut in both directions between Pembury and Kipping's Cross Roundabout.
The southbound carriageway has now reopened between the A228 Pembury Bypass and the B2160 Maidstone Road, but the northbound carriageway remains closed with long delays in the surrounding areas.
Recovery of the vehicles is underway.
Drivers should use the diversion via the Hollow Square symbol by following the A21 northbound at Kippings Cross onto the B2160, to the junction with B2017 (Badsell Road).
They should then take the B2017 and travel to Five Oak Green, then join the A228 to Pembury Interchange.
