Appeal after man is found with serious injuries

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital at Tunbridge Wells with serious head injuries. The 64-year-old man was found lying in the town's Calverley Road
near its junction with Calverley Street at about 8.40pm last night.
It is not yet known how the man came by his injuries and no indication of his present condition has yet been released.
Police cordoned off the area where the man was found and today were awaiting checks by scenes of crimes officers.
