Tunbridge Wells: Man's body found in badly damaged car after smash in Frant

A body found in a badly damaged car has been identified as that of a 55-year-old Tunbridge Wells man.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash in Bunny Lane, Frant, just before 4am last Thursday.
Officers who arrived on scene discovered a body in a Silver VW Golf, which had left the road and collided with a tree.
The road remained closed for nine hours while investigations were carried out.
Police are working to establish how the fatal smash happened.
The East Sussex coroner has been informed.
