Police investigation launched after man's body found in a pond in Rusthall.

Police have identified a body which was found in a pond by a house hunter on Sunday.
The man, aged in his 50s and from the local area, was discovered in water near Fremlin Close in Rusthall, shortly after 1.20pm.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and his next of kin have been informed.

Emergency services were called to the spot, which is surrounded by thick undergrowth and is not clearly visible from the road.
A woman who was leaving flowers at the scene told KentOnline she made the grim discovery while house hunting in the area.

The woman, who didn't want to be named, said her husband spotted what he initially thought was a mannequin in the water, but later discovered it was a body and called the police.
A report of the death has been passed to the coroner.
