Bomb disposal team called to Manor Road, Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells, after flares dug up in garden

A chance discovery in a garden led to police and an army bomb disposal unit descending on Tunbridge Wells this evening.
A man called police after he dug up several corroded flares in his garden in Manor Road, Rusthall.
Officers rushed to the address with an army bomb disposal team to ensure the explosives were safely disposed of.
No explosion was carried out at the property and officers have now left the house.
