A frail man who prompted a widespread search after he went missing from his home in Pembury has been found.
Fredrick Harris, 68, of Snipe Close, Pembury, near Tunbridge Wells, was reported missing by his family at 3.45pm yesterday.
This morning the man was found by volunteers from Kent Search and Rescue and has now been taken to hospital for medical attention.
Concerns grew for Mr Harris, who is suspected of having dementia, after he left his house without his walking stick.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "We would like to thank members of the community, Kent Search and Rescue volunteers and the media for their assistance with this appeal."
