11:20, 08 August 2016
A busy Tunbridge Wells Road has re-opened in both directions following a three-vehicle crash this morning.
The A26 Mount Pleasant Road was shut between the A264 Crescent Road and B2023 Grove Hill Road following an accident just after 10am.
One man suffered a head injury while a woman was left with back pain. Both were taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Pembury.
Another woman was also involved in the collision but an ambulance service spokesman could not confirm whether she suffered injuries too.
Police and fire fighters were also called to the scene.
Kent County Council had advised motorists to avoid the area and allow extra time for their journeys.
