A Danish homeware and lifestyle brand is set to launch its first branch in Kent.
Søstrene Grene has announced the opening of its new Tunbridge Wells store in Royal Victoria Place.
The popular Scandinavian chain offers a range of soft furnishings, kitchenware, furniture, gifts, hobby crafts, seasonal decorations and children’s toys.
Søstrene Grene aims to open 500 stores globally by 2027, with 50 of these across the UK within the next three to four years.
Located next to Fenwick on the upper floor, the new branch is set to open this Friday (June 14) at 10am.
The first 100 people through the door will receive a complimentary voucher for a large, tufted rug valued at over £60 and a canvas tote bag filled with a selection of goodies.
On the day customers can also enjoy refreshments alongside live music from a string trio and a performance from ballerinas.
Following the Danish “hygge” philosophy, the brand embraces cosiness, contentment and comfort.
Joint venture partners Norma Jacob and Richard Power run more than 20 stores across Northern Ireland, southern England and Scotland.
"We can't wait to bring Søstrene Grene to Kent with the opening of our Tunbridge Wells store,” Norma said.
“With our diverse range of affordable products, we're eager to become a much-loved homewares destination in the local area."
Richard added: "Royal Victoria Place is the perfect location for our brand to flourish and become a part of this vibrant community.
“With our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we aim to make a positive impact and provide a consistently exceptional shopping experience.
“We hope to see you all at our grand opening!”
