Fire crews have been fighting a blaze which broke out in the roof of a block of six flats overnight.
Firefighters used ladders and hose reel jets to tackle the blaze, which started in flats at Cambridge Gardens, Tunbridge Wells.
At its height the fire, which broke out at around 7.25pm, four fire engines were needed and two rescue pump ladders.
Crews contained the fire to the roof space, and attacked it from above, while others wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets from within one of the flats.
Some firefighters stayed behind to cut away parts of the flat roof and to damp down.
