Man from Tunbridge Wells dies after crash on A21

A man has died after his car hit roadside fencing near Tunbridge Wells.

The black Audi Q7 was travelling on the London-bound carriageway of the A21 when it struck the central barrier.

The driver, a 38-year-old man from the Tunbridge Wells area, was confirmed dead at the scene.

The crash took place along the Pembury bypass, between the Longfield Road roundabout, Tunbridge Wells, and the junction with the A26, Tonbridge

An investigation has been launched by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) and officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward and call the SCIU appeal line on 01622 798538 or email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk quoting DB/NR/78/19.
