Tunbridge Wells: Man arrested after drugs found in car

A Tunbridge Wells man has been arrested after suspected drugs were found in a car which had been seized by police for having no insurance.
It comes after officers stopped a Subaru Impreza in London Road, last Sunday.
The driver was suspected of having no valid insurance or driving licence and as a result the vehicle was seized and impounded.
The following Wednesday a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act was executed on the vehicle and officers discovered powdered substances believed to contain amphetamine.
Yesterday a 26-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells was then arrested in Speldhurst Road on on suspicion of possessing Class B drugs with intent to supply.
He has been released pending further investigation.
