Police and paramedics were called after a woman was hit by a truck.

Ambulance crews arrived at the scene in Grove Hill Road, Tunbridge Wells at 8.40am.

The woman had been hit by a Nissan Novara truck.

She was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with injuries to her arm and head.

Traffic was held up as a result of the incident, and police remained on scene to direct it.
