Extensive damage after fire in Sandhurst Road, Tunbridge Wells

Firefighters were called to a two-storey property in Sandhurst Road in Tunbridge Wells last night after a fire broke out in the kitchen.
Crews used a hose reel jet and a large ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and clear the smoke-logged kitchen which suffered extensive damage. The cause of the fire isn't known at this stage.
No-one was injured but Kent Fire and Rescue Service's Volunteer Response Team attended to give the distressed occupants emotional and welfare support.
The fire started just after 6pm and was extinguished before 7.30pm. Two fire appliances attended.
