Driver cut free from car crash on A21 in Pembury

A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A21.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the two car collision at the North Farm roundabout on the coastbound carriageway at 2.45pm.

One of the vehicles had rolled on its side, trapping a female driver.

South East Coast Ambulance Service dispatched two ambulances and an ambulance car to the scene.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service also attended and freed the driver from the car.

She was treated at the scene and taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.

At this time it is not clear how serious her injuries are.

Crews stabilised the vehicle and left the scene at around 3.30pm.
