Officers from Kent Fire and Rescue were called out to Medway Road in Tunbridge Wells early this morning when a bin storage hut caught fire.
The blaze began around 12.20am and firemen used two hose reel jets to put out the blaze, which destroyed the bin store. A black Peugeot parked nearby was also damaged by the heat.
The fire was extinguished within 45 minutes and it is believed to have been accidental, possibly caused by a discarded cigarette.
