Flasher targets two women near Linden Cricket Club in Fir Tree Road near Tunbridge Wells Common

An investigation is underway after a suspected flasher exposed himself in front of two women near a popular dog walking spot.

The indecent act was reported close to Linden Park Cricket Club, off Fir Tree Road, leading to Tunbridge Wells Common from Major York’s Road.

It happened at around 5.35pm on Friday (June 28).

The suspect is described as being white, aged in his 30s, and was believed to be wearing blue shorts, a dark baseball cap, and a t-shirt which may have been burgundy.

Police have since deployed more patrols in the area and are asking for any information which may aid their investigation.

Officers believe drivers may have dashcam footage of the incident happening.

Images and footage, including from CCTV and doorbell cameras, can be uploaded via the police force’s online portal here.

Detective Sergeant Alan Poulton said: “This happened in an area where people sometimes park their cars before going to work or walk dogs on the Common.

“We are urging drivers to check dashcams for images around this time.

“Footage of the suspect could also have been captured in surrounding roads, including Hungershall Park, Nevill Park and Mount Ephraim.”
