Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge under inches of water following heavy, continuous rain last night and this morning

Parts of Kent are under inches of water as a result of the heavy rain and strong winds last night and this morning.

In Tonbridge there is significant surface water in Bradford Road, the High Street and Quarry Hill Road.

In Tunbridge Wells motorists are having to drive through large puddles in Nevill Street.

Despite the heavy rain a Kent County Council spokesperson said there is currently no weather warning in place, and the Environment Agency confirmed there were no serious weather alerts.
