A Tunbridge Wells all you can you eat restaurant has been closed over food safety fears.
Cosmo, on the corner of Grosvenor Road and Hanover Road, was shut this morning after a visit from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council's environmental health team.
A spokesman for TWBC said: "Following a visit to Cosmo today we served a Hygiene Emergency Prohibition Notice to close the premises because it was considered that conditions there posed an imminent and significant risk to food safety.
"An application has now been made to the magistrates’ court for a Hygiene Emergency Prohibition Order to be served on the operator of the premises to ensure that public safety is protected.
"As this is an ongoing inquiry it is not appropriate to comment further about this case at this stage."
A Hygiene Emergency Prohibition Order requires a business to make changes to ensure a set of circumstances are no longer present before it can reopen.
Cosmo was unavailable for comment.
