12:44, 05 May 2015
A hole has opened on a busy road in Tunbridge Wells.
The problem is on Upper Grosvenor Road at the junction for Dunstan Road, where a representative for KCC and Kent Police have attended.
It is reported that the ongoing situation is the result of a collapsed sewer underneath the carriageway.
A KCC spokesperson said investigations are ongoing to determine the necessary requirements for repairs.
A Kent Police spokesperson confirmed that officers have placed a cordon round the hole and the area is currently being inspected by other local authorities.
Traffic is expected to be disrupted, and motorists are advised to approach with caution - using an alternative route if they can.
