Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells will host job fair providing information about local vacancies next week
12:00, 09 September 2014
A jobs fair offering information about local vacancies, apprenticeships and volunteering opportunities is set to be held in Tunbridge Wells next week.
It is aimed at people in the Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge areas, but is open to anyone looking for working, seeking a new start or thinking of a career change.
Visitors will be able to speak to prospective employers and take advantage of a range of free workshops including a look at self-employment and how social media can help you in the job market.
Local MP Greg Clark will be holding a drop-in surgery at the jobs fair on Wednesday, September 17 between 11am and 12pm.
Retail, hospitality and care organisations are among those who have already confirmed their attendance.
This is a Job Centre Plus event organised by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and a similar event held in March attracted over 400 people.
The fair will run in the Assembly Hall Theatre in Crescent Road between 10am and 3pm.
