Van Bulck Beers, based in Tunbridge Wells, launches Crowdfunding project

09:00, 21 April 2015

A gluten-free beer manufacturer, based in Tunbridge Wells, has launched a campaign to help them become a 'premium brand'.

Van Bulck beers have recently been introduced to drinks distributor Love Drinks, and they have created a Crowdfunding web page with the aim of making their gift boxes become easily available.

The Belgian organic and gluten-free beer makers, who have their headquarters are in High Street, are asking for help to reach a £5,000 goal which will help get distribution of these gift boxes underway.

Van Bulck have been making beer since 2013, and it can be found in establishments around the county, including the Tunbridge Wells hotel in the Pantiles, and a number of pubs in the Maidstone area.

The idea for the craft beers was brewed by Denis Renty, an ex-chef who specialises in Belgian delicacy, who moved to the UK from his home country 12 years ago, living in Kent for the past three years.

Denis said "I've always wanted to create a premium brand, and following our negotiation with Love Drinks we are able to spread the word, the aim of the Crowdfunding is to see how many people would back the company."

A pledge wouldn't leave you empty handed, as each donation is reflected in a gift that is expected to be delivered in July 2015.

Funding starts at as little as £3, to find out more and to get involved, click here.
