A26 Eridge Road in Tunbridge Wells closed in both directions after lorry strikes bridge

A road was closed in both directions after a lorry hit a railway bridge and overturned in Tunbridge Wells.
It happened on the A26 Eridge Road between Broadwater Lane and Summervale Road at around 1.30pm on Wednesday, February 17.
Officers and Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended and patrols were at the scene while recovery was arranged.
One fire engine attended and crews ensured the scene was safe before handing over to Kent Police.
Nobody was injured and the road has now reopened.
