A man has been charged with pushing two police officers down a flight of stairs.
Darbaz Kheder is said to have shoved one officer into his colleague, causing them both to fall down a stairwell in Tunbridge Wells.
The 22-year-old of St Johns Road is alleged to have then repeatedly kicked and punched them as attempts were made to restrain him. Three officers sustained injuries.
Police were at the flat in St Johns Road after being called to the address at 4.30am yesterday following concerns for the welfare of a woman.
Kheder faces three charges of assaulting an emergency worker.
He is bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates‘ Court on May 7.
