Chatham man airlifted to King's College Hospital in London after falling from roof in Granville Road, Tunbridge Wells

A man was airlifted to a London hospital after falling from a roof whilst working.
The man, aged in his 30s, was working on a roof in Granville Road, Tunbridge Wells yesterday, when he slipped and fell from the single storey house.
The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance were called at 11.05am.
They took the man, from Chatham, to King's College Hospital by aircraft with a broken leg.
Two ambulance crews were also called to the accident.
A spokesman for Kent Ambulance Service said: "The man was unable to move his leg due to the pain caused by the fall, he was conscious throughout his transfer to King's College Hospital."
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
