Tunbridge Wells: Crowborough man Benji Peers charged after bottle assault at Zee Bar in High Street

Detectives investigating a serious assault at a Tunbridge Wells bar have charged a man.
A 23-year-old man suffered a number of facial injuries after he was reportedly struck with a bottle at the Zee Bar, in the High Street in February.
Benji Peers, 31, of Fermor Road, Crowborough was later arrested in connection with the incident.
Peers has now been charged with an offence of wounding with intent and has been bailed to appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 22.
