Tunbridge Wells man dies after crash on A26

A man has died following a two-car crash on the A26.
The collision involving a silver Toyota Yaris and blue Ford Fiesta happened at around 2.25pm yesterday in Eridge Road, near Tunbridge Wells.
It happened on the border with Sussex and police officers were at the scene along with paramedics before the air ambulance later arrived.
A 44-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells died at the scene, while a woman was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The A26 was closed for six hours while emergency services attended.
Sussex Police is now appealing for anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
A spokesman said: "Anyone who saw what happened, saw either vehicle being driven prior to the collision or who may have any relevant dash cam footage is asked to get in touch."
