Man charged with attempted murder after stabbing in Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells

A suspect has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Tunbridge Wells town centre.
The attack happened around 1.20pm on Saturday in Upper Grosvenor Road.
The man was airlifted to a London hospital by a crew from the air ambulance.
Police arrested Michael Rodriguez, 21, Warren Gardens, Hadlow and he has appeared at Medway Magistrates Court today.
Yesterday the Crown Prosecution Service authorised a charge of attempted murder.
The victim of the stabbing is described to be in stable condition.
A police cordon was put in place for much of Saturday along Upper Grosvenor Road, around the Meadow Road car park.
Forensics officers were also spotted at the scene and the incident caused a large traffic backlog through the town.
