Police patrols have been stepped up in a forest after a man was seen running naked from the waist down.

An e-fit image has been released after a string of indecent incidents in Hargate Forest on the Kent-Sussex border.

Several incidents have been reported since May, including a report the suspect committed an indecent act in front of a woman walking a dog.

Police wish to identify the man depicted in the e-fit, in the hope they can speak to him in connection with the incidents.

The man is described as white with a tanned complexion, 5' 11", 20 to 40-years-old and with fair or light brown wavy hair.

One witness said the suspect has tattoos on his arms.

The incidents have happened in Hargate Forest, just south of Broadwater Down in Tunbridge Wells.

Anyone who has seen the man or has any information about him is asked to contact Sussex Police online or ring 101, quoting serial 1213 of 08/07.
