Man taken to hospital after chimney fire in Lamberhurst

A man has been taken to hospital after a chimney fire.
Two fire engines arrived at a home in Hastings Road in Lamberhurst at 3.45pm.
On arrival, the man was already outside of the property.
Paramedics looked after him and took him to hospital.
Fire fighters used breathing apparatus to put the fire out.
The call ended at 5.32pm.
