Nando’s could soon be opening in a Kent high street.
The chicken chain has submitted plans to change the signage on the former Tunbridge Wells Gateway building in Grosvenor Road.
The store will join several other fast food chains already in the area including Greggs, Subway, Costa, KFC and Taco Bell.
The unit is also close to the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre which Tunbridge Wells council bought in hopes of securing its future in the town centre.
The plans are in the early stages with only drawings of signs branding the restaurant's logo and a sketch of the building's proposed layout.
