Mount Pleasant Road in Tunbridge Wells closed after crash involving motorbike and pedestrian

A woman was taken to hospital after she was hit by a motorbike in a town centre.
She was on foot when the collision happened in Mount Pleasant Road, near the A264 Crescent Road in Tunbridge Wells.
Police and medics were called at 11.28am today.
This afternoon, a police spokesman said the woman remained in hospital but the motorcyclist had been discharged.
As of 4.00pm, the road has been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
There were reports of congestion around Tunbridge Wells due to the crash, with a number of bus services impacted.
Metrobus tweeted to say three of its services had been delayed.
