Police appeal for witnesses to reported assault on Mount Pleasant Road, Tunbridge Wells

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being beaten by a gang of 10 in the early hours of this morning.
The victim was walking home from a night out with his friend in Mount Pleasant Road, Tunbridge Wells when the group started following and shouting at them.
The pair were approached by the men, who then punched them to the ground and kicked them.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at around 3.45am.
The victims had seen their attackers earlier in a local nightclub.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses.
The group is described as 10 young white men, one of whom was aged between 19 and 20, 5ft 10ins, slim with blond hair that is short on the sides and curly on top.
